The Art of Combat Exhibit and Panel Discussion.

I hadn’t painted since getting out of the Army. I did look on the internet for other combat artists from time to time and found Jim Pollock, CAT IV. We kept in touch and then he helped organize a show and panel discussion including 40 Army Combat Artists in an exhibit titled, The Art of Combat: Artists and the Vietnam War, Then and Now, at the Indianapolis Art Museum. It was a moving experience to see  one of my paintings included in the show, and I just had to pose with my wife next to it. I was so glad she could be there with me. Check out Jim’s web site for more information on the show.
