C Co., 2nd Battalion, 1st Platoon, the 199th.

Clark and I went on with the 3rd Platoon to the original ambush destination and spent the night in the rain and mud. The next day we sept back to the river. These  ‘lifeguards’ (the  smiley ones) were there to keep us from tipping over and drowning.
