C Co., 2nd Battalion, 1st Platoon, the 199th.

The 2nd and 3rd Platoons had moved in behind us and we started pulling back to a landing zone to evacuate the wounded. Clark was there and later captured the moment in a painting, and I worked on sketches and a painting of the firefight.
