Here are pictures of the most beautiful little baby girl you're likely to ever see - SHAO YANG BING (click on the thumbnails to see larger pictures).



We're guessing that the first picture was taken in June of 2004, as it was attached to a medical report from then. The other two are apparently more recent, but we don't know for sure how recent - the 98/01/04 date the camera printed on the photos is clearly incorrect.

The name Shao is the 1st Chinese character of her birthplace - Shaoyang City. Yang means the sun and Bing means bright.

She was brought to the Shaoyang City Child Welfare Institution in Hunan Province on Jan. 12, 2004, by policemen with the Riot Police Division of the Shaoyang City Public Security Bureau. She was wearing yellow cotton-padded clothes.

The birthdate of Jan. 7, 2004, was estimated based on the umbilical cord.

From the "Child's Progress Information Report," dated June 16, 2004:

She is a lovely child with a round face and big eyes. She has an excellent appetite. She sucks fingers when feels hungry. She likes the caretaker taking her to Play Room. She shows curious and looks around in the Play Room. She often reaches for a color toy. Sometimes she brings a toy to mouth and then throws it away. She is a quiet child. She likes the caretaker holding her in arms and likes the caretaker singing or reading to her. She smiles when the caretaker plays with her.

It also says, "She poops 2 times a day."

We can't wait to go get her!
