Davenport Award
The
Davenport Award was established in 1967 and is a plaque on which the names of
recipients are engraved. The Original
plaque is displayed in the South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural
Resources, Office of Water Quality. A letter of acknowledgement of the award is sent
to the recipient.
The
award is named for J.D. Davenport of Sturgis.
The purpose of the award is to provide recognition to the member of an
association committee who was most active during the past year.
Since
1981, a Davenport Award Plaque has been presented to a recipient.
