What we are: A newly organized group within South Dakota AWWA seeking to increase involvement among young AWWA members and non-members.

Who we are: Persons involved in the drinking water industry (operators, engineers, etc.) under the age of 35.

Our Mission: Assist the young members of South Dakota AWWA to connect with each other.

The South Dakota AWWA saw a need to help the young drinking water professionals (operators, engineers, etc.) in the state become more connected with each other. The Young Professionals Group has recently been formed to accomplish this task. Within the next few months we’ll begin planning activities and working to connect younger members.

We look forward to connecting you with other young members! Your involvement as a young member of AWWA is vital to the continued success of the organization within the State of South Dakota. We hope you will choose to become more involved and encourage other young professionals in the drinking water industry to join you as a member of AWWA.
