American Water Works Association The American Water Works Association (besides being our parent organization) is an international nonprofit scientific and educational society dedicated to the improvement of drinking water quality and supply. Founded in 1881, AWWA is the largest organization of water supply professionals in the world.

AWWA SMALL UTILITY NETWORK- AWWA's Small Utility Network is a problem solving/information service, dedicated to water systems serving 10,000 or fewer people. Industry support through AWWA membership underwrites the cost of this service.

The AWWA Research Foundation The AWWA Research Foundation sponsors practical, applied and future-need based research for the drinking water community. AWWARF's research program embraces all aspects of water supply planning and operation: Analytical techniques and monitoring, Storage and distribution system operations, Development and maintenance of water resources, Treatment technologies, Health effects issues, & Utility planning and management.

Water for People  Water For People  is a nonprofit, charitable organization in the United States and Canada that helps people in developing countries obtain safe drinking water. We work with local partner organizations to provide financial and technical assistance to communities, depending on their needs.

Water Environment Federation Founded in 1928, the Water Environment Federation is a not-for profit technical and educational organization. Its goal is to preserve and enhance the global water environment. 

National Rural Water Association (Mission Statement) The mission of the National Rural Water Association is "to provide its affiliated state associations with the highest quality of support services designed to assist them in meeting the needs of their utility membership."

South Dakota Association of Rural Water Systems  Our vision for South Dakota is of how it can be: A state where all South Dakotans can drink clean, healthy drinking water; where agriculture, business, and industry each have the quality and quantity of water to produce the products South Dakota needs. SDARWS has a vision of a wastewater industry that adequately addresses the public’s needs and ensures against environmental hazard and pollution.

EPA CCR CATALOG To help consumers find their Consumer Confidence Reports (CCRs), EPA has created a "CCR catalog" on their drinking water home page that provides links to water suppliers' reports.  EPA is asking that interested parties share the word about the web site through newsletters, periodicals, and by encouraging suppliers to share the web addresses for their reports.  The catalog, the web form that suppliers can use to enter their report's web address, and other CCR tools are available here.

South Dakota Water and Wastewater Association  Founded in 1935, the objective of the South Dakota Water and Wastewater Association (SDWWA) is to advance a course of instruction for those responsible for the operation of water and wastewater facilities, the general advancement of knowledge of the design, construction, operation, and management of water and wastewater facilities, and encouragement for a friendly exchange of information and experience among it's members.
