Annual Awards given by the South Dakota Section of the American Water Works Association include:

• Gold Water Drop Award 

• Kenneth J. Miller Award

• Award of Honor

• Safety Award

The awards are presented at the annual banquet and awards ceremony during the joint annual conference of the South Dakota Water and Wastewater Association, The South Dakota American Water Works Association, and the South Dakota Water Environment Federation.
