LATEST FORUM POSTS
Huge change here at DrainoRadio for listeners and DJs. As of 03-20-10 we're now casting off a new MP3 server that allows us to cast great quality 128kbs in stereo. Lost did a bit of 'net research and found us some free ShoutCast Server space. A huge thanx to Lost for doing what Draino's too lazy to do. As you can see we had to whore out the website a bit with an ad at the top to get this done. Hey, a free ShoutCast server is a free ShoutCast server.
The upside of all this is......listeners can now tune in just by coming to this website. They can also tune in with WinAmp, WMP and now RealPlayer. The DJs don't have to mess with starting 2 encoders. Also the best part...NO MORE FUCKING IP ADDRESS CHANGES!!!!!! The AutoDJ should play all the time now and not go down as much. For those times it does Lost, RockinRick, and Booger have access to restart it. This should make for a much better station.
We've got the FlashChat working, sort of. It seems to freeze up and quit working from time to time. If it does freeze up on you just refresh the page and it should work again for you. This is a problem that is out of our control as it's hosted from the WyldRyde site. We recommend using an IRC client like mIRC for chatting. FireFox users can also click on the LINK TO IRC link and choose mibbit to log into the ChatRoom. We're still working with WyldRyde on getting the FlashChat working in all browsers.
