Jae Ho Sim’s Martial Arts Academy is a full family service school committed to our students in providing high quality training. Our programs are designed in a step-by-step manner allowing new students to learn and build on prior class experience. Classes are fun and fitness oriented. Over 30 years of Martial Arts experience and trained to effectively relate knowledge and understanding to students of all ages, abilities, and levels.

Whether you are interested in Martial Arts for physical well being, weight-loss aspects of training or just seeking to add discipline and self-control to your live, Jae Ho Sim’s Martial Arts Academy offers a number of classes that will fit your developmental needs and your busy schedule as well. Mighty Mights is a program for 3-5 year olds. This program improves children’s fitness, promotes self confidence, and enhances physical and motor development – all, while having plenty of fun.

Mighty Mights gives your child a positive start in life through the benefits of Martial Arts. Children develop attention, focus, listening skills and a positive mental attitude.

Kids Martial Arts is our program for 6-8 year olds. It introduces the child to Martial Arts. It’s about life and developing the tools we need to be successful in it. Moving through the ranks our kids are taught how to face mental and physical challenges successfully increasing their self-esteem and ability to make the right decisions.

Junior Martial Arts is a program for 9-14 year olds. It introduces kids to serious training in the field of Martial Arts. Our juniors begin learning the application of basic Martial Arts technique developing the mind for quick decisions and reactions. The respect for yourself and others is understood at this level while inner deepening of self-control, courtesy, integrity, and wisdom is achieved.

Adult Martial Arts is a program for students ages 14 and older. “The journey of self-discovery.” This program is designed to provide our students with a structured path to Black Belt. Classes are based on the kicking, striking, blocking, and stand up self-defense of Tae Kwon Do and Hapki Do; with the throwing, joint locking and grappling of the Japanese Art of Judo. This is a comprehensive program providing students with training in all aspects of self-defense. The main goal of Martial Arts is self-improvement. Physical limitations are respected, but challenged. This program helps our students, at whatever stage in life they may be, to better deal with the daily stress that we all face. Classes are enjoyable, yet serious.

Mom’s Kicking Class requires no prior experience in Martial Arts. It’s a fat burning, toning, stress releasing, fun, and challenging workout set to music. All the moves you learn from class will help you build strength and learn self-defense.
