On The Surface

Firework embers splash onto the frozen surface of West Lake Okoboji at the close of the annual Winter Games, always the last full weekend in January.

The Okoboji Yacht Club hosts sailboat races on Saturdays and Sundays and several regattas on West Lake Okoboji every summer.

Lights from Arnolds Park Amusement Park light the beach along the Lake's shore in early evening.
