Karl is Court Administrator for the 2nd Judicial Circuit in South Dakota. He went to college at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, graduate school for his Masters at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and holds a Fellowship with the Institute for Court Management at the National Center for State Courts. He also tried the PhD program at the University of South Dakota in public administration. It was a fantastic program and he highly recommends it, but sadly he had to hit the eject button when it became clear there was no way he could jam a rigorous PhD program into his life right now. (Dr. Molina's ethics class was fantastic though.)
