Most of these recipes are Heidi's creations or from her
family (well, except for one).
- This recipe was originally called "Pork-a-roni" but
Heidi thinks "Jasmine Pork" is a classier name. Anyway, it's
a very good quick dinner with lots of flavor.
Lemon Dijon Salad Dressing
- A fresh, bright, home made salad dressing.
Pop'Rito Snack Mix - A
very quick, tasty snack mix.
Grandma Hattie's Butter Rolls
- This is a recipe from Heidi's grandmother Hattie. The
rolls come out buttery and sugary and warm. Definitely a great comfort
food on a cold day.
- Heidi perfected her skills on this one while she was in law school in
Cajun Country down there in Louisiana, when she had a few minutes between wrasslin' gators.
Cornbread Stuffing Okay, this one isn't Heidi's but it's
really good. In 2014 Karl attended a court management conference at
the Hyatt Resort in Lost Pines, Texas. They served this at a reception
buffet, he asked for the recipe, and they proudly shared it. Karl
doesn't even like spicy-hot food, but this was excellent. Very Texan.
