St.Jude Thaddeus is also called the "The Forgotten Saint," because of Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus. He is a powerful saint and takes special delight in coming to the aid of persons in desperate need. "Thaddeus" means sweetness and gentleness of character. He died a martyr of God and the mortal remains now lie in the great basilica of St. Peter in Rome.

PRAYER TO ST.JUDE
St.Jude, glorious apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the true church invokes you universally as a patron of things despaired of. Pray for me who I'm miserable. Pray for me that I may receive consolation and succor in my necessities and tribulation especially ........request... and that I may bless God with the elect throughout eterenity.
