Garrison Keillor is the author of more than a dozen books, founder, host and principle writer for A Prairie Home Companion on public radio; he also does a radio 'column', The Writer's Almanac on many public radio stations and a weekly column in the Minneapolis Tribune.

John was fortunate to see Garrison Keillor at the Freedom Forum's Al Neuharth Legacy Series at the University of South Dakota, October 6th 2005. John and Bonnie were at the broadcast performance of A Prairie Home Companion at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD May 2005.
