Two-time metal album of the year award winners!

For the second year in a row Jerkstore has won the metal album of the year award from Just Plain Folks Organization. Jerkstore accepted the 2002 metal album of the year award at The Highlands in Hollywood, CA. in March 2003 for it's "Circus Therapy" release. Jerkstore was honored once again to accept the 2004 metal album of the year award at the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana, CA. in November 2004 for it's "Fade" release. The event was moved from the Avalon to the Galaxy Theater. What a good time... great performances from an amazingly diverse group of musicians. Nominees and performers came from as far away as Lithuania and Japan!! We were honored to be a part of the event and would like to thank founder Brian Austin Whitney for sharing his vision with others. "We're all in this together." If you would like more details on the event or would like to learn more about Just Plain Folks Org. please go to our "links" page and click on the Just Plain Folks Org. link.

The 2004 Rock & Roots Compilation!

Jerkstore's song "Fade" appears on this year's OASIS Best of Rock & Roots Compilation: An Essential
Music Library for the Rock Programmer, vol. 25. This 4-disc, 80-song sampler is for promotional/radio use
on a national level and it was put together by the fine folks at OASIS CD Manufacturing in Virginia. It
highlights some of the best recording artists that OASIS has to offer, and is distributed to radio
stations, record companies and music biz folks across the country. Many music industry insiders have asked to hear each sampler as it comes out. Samplers have charted repeatedly in CMJ(College Media Journal). Samplers feature a mix of "name" acts, such as Three Doors Down, and "unknowns." |
