One day I decided to sit at the beach,
and then I thought maybe I could reach.
I stretched out my hand towrads the heart warming sun,
in hopes of finding my only one.

Out of my thought I laid my hand down,
and rested it gently on the ground.
Thinking of her as I started to stare,
wishing that she would always be their.

I got up, starting to ponder,
are their any hopes that I have that can wander?
I looked once more at the ocean that was gleaming
I then felt my heart as though music was streaming.

I thought over and over why oh why?
My heart could never die.
I then felt this joy I never felt before,
thinking how much I wanted to see her more.   

I decided to look over towards my right,
I then saw a beautiful sight.
I then saw her, running towards me
Under the sun, it was my dear beloved friend, Leigh.
