Camp Dates

June 22-28

·         Leave Sioux Falls Sunday at 10:30; scouts bring sack lunch.

·         Family night and campfire is June 27.

·         Return to Sioux Falls Saturday morning, early afternoon.

 

Camp Program

1.      A great extension to the troop program.

2.      L&C has fantastic scouting resources

3.      Staff is trained and ready to:

·         teach skills

·         offer ideas

·         model the Scout spirit

 

Camp Operation

·         Our troop leadership will provide direction and leadership to the troop.

·         The boys will devote a lot of time to personal advancement.

·         The boys will also work as a part of a patrol.

·         Each boy will have time to relax and pursue personal interests.

Fees

·         $72.50 due tonight.

·         Arrangements can be made to make first payment no later than April 8. [Preregistration form is due and must be submitted for free t-shirts.]

·         Second half of payment and any applicable merit badge fees are due two weeks prior to camp.

·         Activity fee due week before camp [$15-$20]

·         Spending money at camp: dependant upon scout.  Trading post has souvenirs, candy, ice cream, t-shirts, etc. Last year parents were able to preorder shirts, sweatshirts and other items for pick up that week.

 

What should be done now?

·         Commit to going.

·         Make payment arrangements.

·         Schedule physical.

·        Arrange swim lessons or begin practice swimming.
