Fall Camporee This fall's camporee has a Civil War theme. During the camporee participants will be "enlisted" in either the Union or Confederate armies. You will learn marches, drills and other everyday facts of live during the Civil War. Lunch will consist of hardtack and juice. Wreaths Wreath kickoff was last week. Wreaths are one of the troop's only three fundraisers and are a major source of income for both the individual scout (camp cash) and the troop. There is a separate newsletter with all the dates and information in it. Some new items are a festive tabletop Christmas Tree and an Apple 'N Spice Centerpiece. Scouting for Food Scouting for Food is Saturday, October 26^th. We will meet at Sunnycrest at 7:45 am and start putting bags out at 8. When we are done with putting the bags out we will come back to the church for lunch and a video/games. At 1:00 we will pick up bags and then deliver the food. Afterwards we will go down to Newton Hills for a Halloween sleepover. Call your Patrol Leader for more information.
	Other News 10/14/02 Corn Maze Trip Next week the Troop is going to a corn maze. We are meeting at the church at 6:30. Each scout should bring a flashlight because it will be dark. Carpooling can be arranged. 10/21/02 PLC Each patrol leader should be there or at least one member of each patrol. Meeting begins at 6:30 and ends at 8:30.
