Rules

The computer has generated of a four digit number in which the digits do not repeat. You must try to guess that number. For each try, the computer will tell you how good you guess was by using the following three words:

FERMI: One digit is correct and is in the correct position.
PICO: One digit is correct, but is not in the correct position
BAGELS: None of the digits are correct.

Actual number: 4682

You guess: 1648
Response: PICO PICO FERMI
Explanation:

The 4 and 8 are correct, but are in the wrong positions (2 PICOs).
The 6 is correct and is in the correct position (FERMI).

You guess: 4628
Response: PICO PICO FERMI FERMI
Explanation:

The 2 and 8 are correct, but are in the wrong positions (2 PICOs).
The 4 and 6 are correct and are in the correct position (2 FERMIs).

You guess: 7031
Response: BAGELS
Explanation:
