     Esperanto is an artificial language designed to facilitate communication among people of different lands and cultures. It was first published in 1887 by Dr. L. L. Zamenhof (1859-1917). Unlike national languages. Because it is an artificial language it is  simpler and more regular than such languages. It has only 16 rules of grammar, none of which have exceptions.
