Butterscotch was adopted from the Sioux Falls Humane Society. She was a very affectionate and easy going pig. She always gave us kisses, licking our faces, noses and sometimes lips. She was usually very calm and didn't mind being handled, and loved spending time cuddling and talking. She was also very brave. When she was only about 4 months old, she had to have a cyst removed from her neck. She handled the operation quite well, although it took some time for her wound to heal. Unfortunately, she passed away at the age of two in April, 2004. She became ill and we did everything we could to help her recover. She was not able to pull through though.
