I will post some growth pictures of a few corals on this page. It is actually kind of funny because I just started thinking about trying some lower kelvin bulbs because I thought my corals weren't growing much with the Radiums. However, I think they are doing fine after seeing these pictures. Granted they aren't growing near as fast as they did with 10k Ushios, they are still growing fast enough for me.
All pictures were taken at similar times. The first picture in each comparison was taken on 2-18-05 and the second was taken on 5-1-05.

forest green polyped acro, this one also colored up better

brown w/ blue tips milli, this is the one that was butchered when I had to take the tank apart. It has healed up well and started encrusting a new base. It has also put on some linear growth but not fast enough to get the blue tips back yet.

A. valida, This one is kind of a success story. This coral began to STN in random areas about a month after I got it. I almost gave up on it. I decided to give it a chance and threw it in my quarantine tank for a couple months. I ended up having to frag it extensively to the point where I thought there was no hope. After fragging, the STN stopped and it was moved back to the display after spending the 2 months in quarantine. This coral quickly grew over the exposed areas and is now looking like it did before the STN ever set in. This coral serves as a reminder to me that I should never give up on any coral that looks like it may not make it.
