Fish Trap
After having one too many experiences with tearing my tank down just to remove a fish I decided it was time to make a trap. The trap needed to be large enough for even the larger fish and it needed to have a door that I could open and close from outside the tank. Here is what I came up with.
The trap:
The "hinges" (made out of cable ties):

This is what happens when the fishing line is pulled on from above the trap. I attached another piece of fishing line to the line in this picture that extended out of the tank so I could pull it without scaring the fish.
Some nori on a veggie clip was used for bait:
