Mike Dresch, owner/producer/engineer and a talented musician himself, has won various awards for his work since opening the Cathouse in 2001.  Being a talented musician and guitar luthier as well, he is one of the most sought after music professionals in the industry in all contemporary music genres including rock, alternative, pop, r & b, rap, Christian contemporary, and country.  His set up, recording, mixing, and mastering techniques along with his speed have astounded even the most seasoned pros in Hollywood, leaving them scratching their heads.  Mike's recordings are easily compared to any national label sound and in fact does work with national labels. 

 CD Duplication               

Cathouse Studios is also now a full service studio, assisting with CD duplication services.  We are partnering with a well known industry CD duplication house in order to provide our clients with highly competitive duplication and packaging services offering as low as 100 CDs in slim cases, including a full color insert, for $164 plus shipping, delivered in one week. (Applies to short runs with completed graphics, templates provided).  Standard cases, bar codes, polywrap, etc. is available so please feel free to let us know what we can assist you with.

Cathouse Studios is also happy to provide private vocal instruction for the modern day singer!  Exercises designed for proper breath support and vocal placement along with other tricks and techniques are utilized to improve overall performance in order to protect your voice and to sing more "freely".  Also valuable tips on stage performance, microphone etiquette, and the music industry are taught.  All music is contemporary, chosen by the student with Cathouse's assistance and included with the lessons along with a complimentary vocal "warm-up CD".  All skill levels are welcome!

 Amy Dresch, member of the MTNA (Music Teachers' National Association) is a professional singer/recording artist/composer having performed both contemporary music (rock, alternative, R&B) and classical music for over twenty years.  After many, many years of classical music instruction, choral singing, vocal pedagogy, percussion, and piano, she switched gears, picked up a guitar, and started writing, recording, and performing rock music. Taking the same vocal pedagogy methods from classical singing, she transfered them over to contemporary music stylyings and has been teaching this method to others both in and out of the studio.

Mrs. South Dakota-America Pageant

 Come cheer Amy Dresch on as she competes for the title of Mrs. South Dakota at this year’s 2009 competition at the Sioux Falls Convention Center on June 20^th at 8pm.  Amy’s platform is Autism Awareness so with or without the title, will be starting her campaign and is honored to participate.  Big thank you to Rosemary Savage and all involved.  Come out to cheer Amy on as well as the other contestants!  Still accepting sponsors so if interested in being a part of her year long cause, please contact Amy at 366-7057.

Rock Against Autism Showcase!

Cathouse Studios is having its first vocal student “recital” on June 22^nd at Sioux Falls Music, starting at 6pm.  The event is the first in a series of Autism Awareness events where updated info will be provided including new findings regarding vaccinations, therapies, and screenings.

Studio Rate:  Please call or email for rates. 

One copy of the master CD provided at no additional charge at completion of the project.  Balance must be paid in full before any copies of music will be released in any way, shape or form. 

There is no charge for gear set up time at the beginning of a session.  Basically, we don't start charging until recording, mixing or mastering begins. 

A deposit of 50% of time booked is required to hold studio time.  Cancellation of studio time forfeits deposit.  All deposit money is applied to studio time accumulated. 

Forms of payment accepted: cash, bank/cashiers check, money order or local check, credit card via PayPal (customer responsible for 3% PayPal fee).

Saturday 10:00am to 10:00 pm Sunday 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm
